The diSplay Project is a mobile, application-based, interactive surgical procedure simulator using virtual organs with high-fidelity behavior.

English / French

“What if you could foresee the best possible surgical strategy for a specific patient ?”

diSplay allows a surgeon or a student to try several different surgical approaches in order to visualize and specifically compare the consequences of the choices made on the behavior of the organ, before operating on the patient.
Whether it is about surgical planning or learning, diSplay offers the ability to foresee the best surgical strategy for each patient to everyone.
ANTICIPATE THE BEST SURGICAL STRATEGY FOR A SPECIFIC PATIENT
Choose your patient candidates more serenely
Improve the safety of and the communication with your patient candidates
Measure how far you can go into deforming an organ
Use reliable data to pick the most efficient surgical technique for a particular patient
Reduce postoperative complications occurrence and reoperations rates
Plan and debrief more easily with your multidisciplinary team
  • null

A deformable and operable 3D patient specifc anatomic model

diSplay uses 3D models extracted from medical imaging with added biomechanical properties, to provide an interactive simulation of a fully operable and deformable virtual clone specific to your patient.

TEST, MEASURE, VISUALIZE, AND KEEP TRACK OF YOUR OPERATING STRATEGIES, STEP BY STEP !
  • TEST

Apply a variety of actions on one or more selected organs : cut, incise, suture, fill, deform…

  • MEASURE

    Measure distances, angles, areas, volumes…

  • VISUALIZE

Display stress analysis, cut planes, internal structures, transparency…

  • KEEP TRACK OF YOUR SURGICAL STRATEGIES

Access a summary of actions performed on a model, with distinct steps.

THE KEY STRENGTHS OF DISPLAY YOU WILL ENJOY

Immersive

Not only will you be able to observe an organ from any point of view, but also to operate precise virtual surgical gestures before an operation.

Predictive

Anticipate consequences of surgical decisions on a patient’s organ.

Non-limitative

Unlike 3D-printed organs, you can try limitless varieties of surgical techniques on a single model.

Collaborative

Easily share different surgical options and their postoperative results with your team.

diSplay Learning is available on any devices
diSplay needs significant computing power to operate flawlessly, and thus it will run through secured cloud servers. Hence, you can access it from any network-connected device, everywhere.

“Discover diSplay and experiment a variety of different surgical strategies and their consequences on virtual patient organs !”

DISPLAY LEARNING IN ACTION

eSURG&SIM CURRICULUM : A DIGESTIVE SURGICAL PLANNING MODULE ON STOMACH LESIONS

The curriculum eSURG&SIM is the first module available for the software diSplay Learning. eSURG&SIM is a module of digestive surgery and virtual suture for the students of the Faculties of Medicine. A curriculum perfectly adapted to the needs of the user and that allows a reflexive learning.
